Proud Parent

If you read my profile, you will see that I enjoy playing Heroclix. I try to play in tournaments whenever I can. My children also enjoy playing. My oldest, which is eight, wanted so badly to play in a tournament. I said I would let them if they got the honor roll, A or B. I was proud when the report card showed the A honor roll. I kept my promise and took the child to the tournament. There were eight other pretty experienced players there. I was worried about her chances. I was amazed when my child won the first round. The second round came and a loss. It was a good effort though. The third round came with another win. A fourth place finish overall in the tournament was pretty good. I finished dead last in my first Heroclix tournament. I was also pleased when my child was voted to get the sportmanship prize. I was so proud, mostly about the A honor roll but also, with a good showing at the tournament. I'm the Eyeball, and that's what I (proudly) see.

Thank's for the comment. I am very proud of her. She has acheived the B Honor Roll a couple of times since this post. She has also competed in several tournament. She hasn't won any yet but her time is coming. By the way, didn't she beat you in that particular tournament?
