Top Ten Things Wrong With WWE

It's been a while since my last post, sorry. I have been busy. I wanted to post this a while back but a few thing changed and I had to re-think it. Wrestling is scripted, that being said I have noticed a few things that the writing staff could change to make WWE better. If they don't they could see TNA making a bid for the top wrestling spot. I don't want that to happen. I'm not fond of TNA. I will make that more clear later in another blog. Although this says "top ten" these are in no peticular order.

10. Umaga: This is not a major problem. When I originally was going to post this it was going to be nasty. Umaga's talent is growing. He is using more moves than the three he was using before. I still don't think he has earned a WWE title shot yet. He needs to develop a vocabulary and lose a match. Those undefeated steaks get stale fast. I can remember crowd signs saying "Getting Old Berg" when Goldberg was just 50-0. The only undefeated streak that worked was Andre's 20 year streak, but Umaga is no Andre.

9. Ron Simmons: I don't have anything against Ron Simmons, it's his role on Raw that has me upset. It is a good example of how Vince McMahon can waste talent. Simmons was the first African-American to hold a major World title, now he is reduced to shouting explitives in short segments. Don't get me wrong I find these segments amuzing, but knowing that he could be used for so much more just makes me want to say....DAMN!

8. Shelton Benjamin: The racist comment are getting really old really fast. This is a great talent, probably one of the best on Raw. With the right angle he would be very believable as WWE Champion. But, these racism comments are making me lose respect for him and the WWE altogether.

7. King Booker: When some wrestler win the King of the Ring they choose to put the word King in front of their name for a short time. King Booker is getting old. I long for the old Booker T. "All hail King Booker", "Tell me you didn't just say that."

6. Kurt Angle: You really have to examine the way you are running your company when one of your top stars lies about injury and depression just to end up on the "other show". Mr. McMahon I believe this is your wake up call.

5. Wrestling Divas: I have no problem with female wrestlers. Mickie James, Victoria, and Jillian Hall have a great deal of talent. It's the other that couldn't wrestle their wat out of a paper bag that I don't like. These ladies should spend for time practicing and less time tanning. Women Wrestlers should be more that eye candy.

4. Announcers: Why do the announcers bicker about the other shows. Raw, ECW, and Smackdown may be different brands but they are all WWE. Are they trying to cut the ratings on their own shows.

3. K-Fed: I remember when David Arquette won the WCW Championship. It was one of the lowest points of WCW's history. I like Arquette as an actor but he has no business in a wrestling ring. K-Fed is worse, I have yet to find anyone that is a fan of his at all. Having him gain a victory over Cena is ridiculous. He has even less business than Arquette being in a wrestling ring.

2. ECW: You can just read my previous post "ECW Light" for this one. WWE has taken the Extreme out of ECW. That was the entire basis for ECW. Now your lucky to get one "Extreme match of the night" in a ECW show. It was much better the old way.

1. Eddie Guerrero: The continued exploitation of Eddie's death makes me sick. It's almost a year later and Rey, Benoit, Chavo, and even Vickie are still using his name. Rey dedicating his performances at last years Rumble and Wrestlemania was classy. But to still be fighting over him a year later is tasteless. Vickie is the worst. Her husband dies, but instead of mourning and moving on, she exploits his death to make money and stay in the spotlight. That's a true class act(sarcasm).

Well there it is. You may agree, you may disagree. This is just my opinion. Please, feel free to post a comment about anything I have said. I'm The Eyeball, and that's what I see.
