Reimagined
It's October the 1st and as alot of people I am thinking of Halloween. In my household we enjoy watching horror movies around Halloween. As I have been looking around the internet I have noticed a few horror movies being reimagined. My question is why?. When a movie is made perfectly well the first time why remake it. A few of these movies are still in the development stage and some don't even have a screenplay yet. A few of these include: A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Birds, Children of the Corn, Child's Play, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Evil Dead, Friday the 13th, Hellraiser, and even Monster Squad, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, and I saved the best for last, Plan 9 from Outer Space. Why have filmmakers lost their imaginations? These movies were fine to begin with, even Plan 9 which was good because of it's silliness, so why remake them? I'm The Eyeball and That's What I See.

If Criswell were still alive, he might say, "Future remakes such as these will stink in the future".
some of those movies aren't even that old. i don't mind remakes but wait a few years until you do them.
