Sith Wars

There has been an ongoing debate over the last few years (or since the prequels came out) about who is the baddest Sith to ever wield a lightsaber. I will try to settle this right here by having the Undisputed Champion (in my opinion) Darth Vader defend that title against the other Sith from the saga. Here we go.

Darth Vader vs Darth Maul

This has been a dream match-up ever since Episode 1 was released. There are ever a couple of fan films on youtube about it. I believe where Darth Maul will have better lightsaber skills than Darth Vader, (being more machine than man) Vader will have a MUCH better mastery of the force. One slip up by Maul and then the force choke and it's all over.

Winner: Darth Vader

Darth Vader vs Count Dooku

This would be a tougher match-up for Vader than it was with Darth Maul. Dooku has a better mastery of the force than Maul. This fight would use more force powers than lightsabers. Neither would gain a distinct advantage so the lightsabers would eventually come into play and then we would have a headless Count Dooku.....again.

Winner: Darth Vader

Darth Vader vs Darth Vader

Yes, I even decided to have him fight himself. This is really a easy choice if you think about it. The older Vader has a better mastery of the force and the benefit of experience. He knows not to try to attack an opponent that has the "high ground."

Winner: Darth Vader (older and wiser)

Darth Vader vs Emperor Palpatine

Anyone who saw Return of the Jedi knows how this one turned out.

Winner: Darth Vader
