WWE Hall of Fame 2007

This time I thought I would tell you who I think should be inducted into the 2007 class of the WWE Hall of Fame. When I list the accomplishments, I will only list the major titles: WWE, NWA, WCW, WCCW, ECW, and AWA.

Dusty Rhodes

The "American Dream" is a deserving inductee. He was one of the most popular wrestlers back in his hayday, and he still is today. He showed you didn't have to have a chisled physique to be great.
2-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion
1-time NWA United States Champion
2-time NWA World Tag Team Champion
3-time NWA World Television Champion
1-time NWA National Champion

Jerry Lawler

The "King" is truly a great choice. Before he was a color commentator on Raw, he was a great competitor. His fued with comedian Andy Kaufman brought wrestling into mainstream media. He is also the only man to hold a World Championship in three different promotions at the same time(AWA, WCCW, USWA). He has won the USWA World title 27 times, but I really can't count that because he was half owner of that promotion.
1-time AWA World Heavyweight Champion
2-time AWA World Tag Team Champion
2-time WCCW World Heavyweight Champion

Road Warriors

You can call them LOD or the Road Warriors, I call them the most dominant tag team in wrestling history. The amount of titles they won may not be impressive but their reigns are. The fact that they didn't win more titles was attributed to the other teams didn't want to face them. They were known to be stiff hitters and even in the scripted world of wrestling other teams were afraid to face these guys.
2-time WWE World Tag Team Champions
1-time NWA World Tag Team Champions
1-time AWA World Tag Team Champions
1986 NWA Jim Crockett Sr. Memorial Cup Winners
1989 NWA Iron Team Tournament Winners

Terry Funk

The "Funker" has a great list of accomplishments. In addition, he was one of the first wrestlers to make the jump to movies(Road House). This man put hardcore wrestling on the map and for that alone he should be inducted.
2-time ECW World Heavyweight Champion
1-time ECW World Television Champion
1-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion
3-time NWA World Tag Team Champion
1-time NWA United States Champion
1-time WWE World Tag Team Champion
1-time WCW United States Champion
3-time WCW Hardcore Champion

Randy Savage

This one is long overdue. The "Macho Man" was one of the greatest. His raspy voice and his "OOOHHH YEAH!" gave him a charisma like no other. Despite the personal feelings between him and Vince McMahon, Randy Savage should be inducted. After all, he let Bret Hart in.
2-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion
1-time WWE Intercontinental Champion
1989 King of the Ring
4-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion
1995 World War 3 Battle Royal Winner

And finally, another induction that is long overdue. This hasn't taken place because this man is still wrestling. But I don't think that is any reason to keep him out.

Ric Flair

This is the most decorated man in wrestling history, a total of 16 World Championships. Even the fact that he has yet to retire, shows the amount of heart this man possesses. In 1975 he survived a plane crash that doctors told him would end his wrestling career. One year later he was back in the ring. The "Nature Boy" always said "To be the man, you gotta beat the man!" He may have been beaten a few times but he will always be the man.
6-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion
5-time NWA United States Champion
2-time NWA World Television Champion
8-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion
1-time WCW United States Champion
2-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion
1-time WWE Intercontinental Champion
3-time WWE World Tag Team Champion
1992 Royal Rumble Winner

There it is, my choices for the 2007 WWE Hall of Fame. These guys were some of the best in the business. They deserve there rightfull place. I'm The Eyeball and that's the way I see it.

Typo

As I was going back to check my previous posts for comments I noticed something. There were alot of typing mistakes in my posts. So this time I can only rant about myself. When I write my posts I never really plan what I'm going to write until I'm writing. There are exceptions like my Marvel/DC post and the one I'm working on now, which I hope to have posted in a few days. Just because I don't plan my writing is no excuse. I should carefully proofread my posts before I publish. When I publish posts with this many mistakes it makes me look un-intelligent. I'm not a very smart man, but I would like to appear so. I'm The Eyeball, and I'm sorry to say, that's what I see.
