The Better Superman

There are two individuals which have played Superman in recent years. I am going to tell you who I think is the better Superman is, and then you will be able to counteract my opinion, and vote for the one you think is better. I will give the winner in an upcoming blog after some time has passed to allow anyone who reads this to vote. First lets look at the "comic image" of Superman.

Now let's look at the two last persons to play Superman.

Dean Cain

and,

Brandon Routh

I will judge in a few categories to decide how I will vote. You may decide how ever you wish.

Physique- This is pretty close but I think Cain edges out Routh on this one.

Cain-1/Routh-0

Costume- Well just look at them. Routh's costume is the wrong shade of red and the "S" is too small. Cain's costume looks much better

Cain-2/Routh-0

Action- Cain is an ex-college football star and known action actor(even if the movies are direct to video). Routh is a former fashion model and soap opera actor. Gee this is tough.

Cain-3/Routh-0

Morallity- Cain's portrayal of Superman was flawless. He upheld Superman's moral code. Routh on the other hand, drank alchohol in a bar and had a child out of wedlock.

Cain-4/Routh-0

Spitcurl- Well Routh has got this one. Cain's Superman never had a spitcurl.

Cain-4/Routh-1

Well there is how I will vote. My vote is for Dean Cain. You may vote however you wish. Just leave a comment with the actors name in it. Cain leads the voting at this very moment but the rest is up to you. I'm the Eyeball, and That's What I See.

Cursed

It's official, The Titans are cursed. Well at least Vince Young is cursed. If you aren't aware Young was put on the cover of Madden '08.

In case you weren't aware, appearing on the cover of any Madden game puts a curse on the player which appears. If you check my previous posts I have added a rundown of the curse to my comments in the post "Random Questions". I was going to give the curse the benefit of the doubt but thus far Young has played terribly. He has a QB rating of only 62.2, has only thrown 4 TDs, has been intercepted 10 times, and has been sacked 14 times for a loss of 79 total yards. He also suffered a minor Quad injury. I guess that is what I get for wishing for Manning to be on the cover. Although he has had a bad game recently(6 Int vs. San Diego). I am a Vince Young fan, but if his playing doesn't improve maybe Fisher should think about putting Kerry Collins in to start. I know I came down on him in a previous post but in the game he started for the injured Young he played very well passing for 280 yds in a win against Houston. With alot of the focus in the Titans gameplan concentrating on the run it couldn't hurt to start Collins. I'm the Eyeball, and that's What I See.
